Finnish Architecture 0607
4 June - 28 September 2008

Fresh top architecture - 25 designs selected by a jury of experts are presented in the third biennial
of current Finnish architecture. The survey includes topical examples of housing, public building
and town planning, ranging from a small holiday home to a large-scale public office complex. The survey
includes topical examples of housing, public building and town planning, ranging from a small holiday home
to a large-scale public office complex. Half of the works are situated in the Helsinki metropolitan area,
the other half elsewhere in Finland or abroad. In addition to new buildings, on display are dealings with
modern heritage from the 1950s-1970s: renovations of buildings as well as infill designs and town plan
revisions.

This presentation is the third in the biennial surveys of top contemporary Finnish architecture.
It is intended for cultural export as well as for the Finnish public.

The book Finnish Architecture 0607 is published in English. Besides presentations of all the works of the
exhibition, it contains an introduction by the jury of experts and four articles. More information from
the museum bookshop.

of Architects SAFA and the Museum of Finnish Architecture. The works were selected by Aki Davidsson,
